Sophie Tavert-Macian

Sophie Tavert-Macian déploie depuis vingt ans ses univers éclectiques au cinéma, en une douzaine de films, jouant avec les formats – haïku, courts et long – les techniques – live ou animation – et les genres. Son court-métrage d’animation Traces est présélectionné aux Césars et aux Oscars 2021. L'adaptation de ce film en album jeunesse illustré est publiée chez Delachaux et Niestlé en 2022. Son premier roman, sportif et contemporain, Gamba, paraîtra en Mai 2024 chez Belfond.

Sophie Tavert-Macian has been bringing her eclectic universe to cinema for twenty years, in a dozen films that play with formats - haiku, short and long - techniques - live action or animation - and genres. Her animated short Traces was nominated for the 2021 Césars and Oscars. The adaptation of this film into an illustrated children's book was published by Delachaux et Niestlé in 2022. His first novel, the sports oriented and contemporary Gamba, will be published in Spring 2024 by Belfond.
